We may be small, but the personalities of our worker bees are huge! Meet the bees that make Gipson's Golden honey!
John - Lead Drone (AKA-CEO)
John started Gipson's Golden, Inc. back in 1987 as a hobby and a way to spend some extra time bonding with his kids. In 1998 the hobby took off and Gipson's Golden, Inc. is now a leading producer of raw, natural, organic and kosher certified honey. John now spends his time attending bee conferences, learning about his bees, and selling the best honey ever produced!
Kristina - Queen Bee (AKA - "Fluff" Office Manager)
Someone needs to keep the hive organized. If you want information or need something done, this is the bee to seek. She joined us in April 2006 and has been a valued member since. Our Organic and Kosher certification was made possible because of her never ending hard work.
Season - Head Worker Bee (AKA - Production Supervisor)
You didn't think it was the same bees that make the honey that bottle the honey did you? Season makes sure that the honey stays raw and natural, the jars stay filled and the worker bees keep busy. Working with John since high school, she has been a member of the Gipson family for over six years! This is one bee that will sting you if you mess with her honey!
Keith - Worker Bee (AKA - Warehouse Worker)
Season needs a bee to manage and Keith is it. Keith is a loyal, and reliable worker bee. He started in July 2008 and shortly became a valued bee and friend. The laughter never seems to end when this silly fellow is around. Keith has never backed down from a production challenge, flying around this hive with a smile. With Season and Keith in charge of your honey, it is guaranteed to be the best!
Jason and Dan - Delivery Bees (AKA - Sales and Delivery)
Our bees may bring us the honey, but these two boys will bring it to you! Sun shine or rain, sleet or snow, these bees will make sure the honey is delivered! Jason was brought to us by his loving wife Fluff in July 2006 and has help keep our queen bee sane since. Jason flies as far as needed, from Redding to Palo Alto. Our newer driver Dan found us in February 2008 and has completely taken over all local deliveries and couldn't be doing a better job. This little bee is so useful he even helps out in the warehouse whenever help is needed.
Naomi - Worker Bee ("Omi" Warehouse / Office Worker)
The newest member of our hive, Naomi started here in January 2009. This clever little insect is the only bee to work in both the office and production. She is quickly learning the ropes of honey filling, candle making, pollen packing production from her older sister Season. Our Queen Bee has taken Omi under her wing and together keep John out of trouble.
