Worried about the plight of Honey Bees? So are we.

Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) or the "Beepocalypse" is a serious problem- not just for your honey supply but also the multitude of fruits, vegetables, and other crops that keep the world fed. Below, you can find resources to help you learn about what might be behind CCD, why it's a big deal, and what you can do to help.

Beepocalypse Redux - TIME Magazine - A recent and comprehensive update on what CCD is and what might be causing it.

Vanishing Bees - NRDC - A good resource for how CCD impacts you, and your food supply. The NRDC also has a good guide to
        making your garden bee-safe.

What's Wrong with the Bees? - CBS - A CBS 60 Minutes special on the disappearance of honey bees and the perspective of a beekeeper.

The Vanishing Of The Bees - A documentary and educational website on how you can get involved.

Teaching Kids About the Importance of Honeybees  - An article on the importance of honeybees directed towards children.

One of our little helpers outside of the hive was kind enough to give us some additional resources.  Thank you Sarah!!!  Sarah found the following sites:

beautiful garden and see bees, butterflies and other wild life right outside their window?  Thank you Angela!
